An abandoned 1960s-era Cadillac Coupe Deville parked catty-corner to a nearby dilapidated shed inspired "Caddy-Corner" as the early working title of this image, but the word "standstill" came to mind for the final version. I used a special blend of painterly techniques and rust patterns for the classic lines, and fins, leaving the existing chrome features intact. The original fender skirt and whitewalls have long since disappeared, but the tail lights still proudly declare the Cadillac heritage.
